Step 1: First we will consult with you to discuss the type of website and services you want, your objectives, and your budget.
Step 2: Formal Proposal. Once we have established a project plan, we will send you a written proposal including a breakdown of all services and costs. We will discuss this proposal with you to make sure you have a solid understanding of the contents and make any necessary revisions to the plan.
Step 3: After you have accepted our proposal, we can start work on your website. If domain name registration and hosting are included, they will be setup at this time. Once we have created your design and layout, we will upload it for your approval before completing your site.
Content. When creating your new website we will enter the content into the various pages before it goes live. You can write the content yourself, or you can provide bare bones information about your company, products, services, etc., and we can write your copy for you. We offer a company questionaire to help you outline the information you need to provide for your visitors.
Photos. Any photos you would like to include should be in the highest resolution possible so we can adapt them for your website. We recommend taking several shots of each setting so we can choose the one that works the best. If you don't have photos, we can purchase stock photos that are generic in nature, such as a family photo for an insurance website. If you are selling products, you will need specific pictures for each. These can often be obtained from the manufacturer or distributor. We also offer professional photography services in our local Texas area.
*Tip: Many of our small business customers are realizing very good results with photos taken from their iPhones.
Graphics and Logos (if applicable). If you would like to use any graphics or logos you already have, we will need a high resolution copy or you can send us your current marketing materials and we can recreate your graphics for your website. Otherwise our graphic artists will design custom logos and graphics for your approval.
If you have chosen to utilize the content management system to make updates to your website yourself, you will find it is very intuitive and easy to use. To help you get started, an over-the-phone training session is included to walk you through the program which covers logging in, adding and formatting content for existing pages, adding images, deleting pages, and adding new sections and pages. The training session takes very little time and can be scheduled at your convenience.
